Lokaaro is an online business directory that lists local businesses and allows customers to leave reviews. By using Lokaaro, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the site.

2. Directory — Not a Referral or Endorsement

Lokaaro is a passive directory. We list businesses as an informational resource only. A listing on Lokaaro is not an endorsement, recommendation, or certification of any business, its owners, employees, or services. Users are responsible for independently verifying the credentials, licensing, and suitability of any business they choose to contact or hire.

3. Health & Wellness Listings

Lokaaro may list businesses in health and wellness categories including but not limited to: fitness centers, spas, massage therapists, mental health counselors, chiropractors, dentists, physicians, and alternative medicine practitioners.

Lokaaro does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment recommendations of any kind. Nothing on this site — including business descriptions, reviews, ratings, or any other content — constitutes medical advice or should be relied upon as such.

By using Lokaaro to find health or wellness businesses, you acknowledge that:

• You will independently verify that any healthcare provider is licensed and in good standing with the appropriate state licensing board before engaging their services.
• Lokaaro does not screen, vet, or monitor the clinical qualifications or conduct of health professionals listed on the site beyond the standard business verification process.
• Lokaaro is not liable for any harm, injury, or outcome resulting from services obtained from a business found through this directory.
• In a medical emergency, call 911 or go to your nearest emergency room. Do not rely on this directory in an emergency.

Business owners in health and wellness categories agree that they will not post false, misleading, or unsubstantiated health claims on their Lokaaro listing. Claims such as "we cure [condition]" or guarantees of specific health outcomes are prohibited and may result in listing removal.

4. User Accounts

You must be 18 or older to create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and for all activity that occurs under it. Notify us immediately at [email protected] if you suspect unauthorized access.

5. Reviews and Content

By submitting a review or any content to Lokaaro, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display that content on the platform. You represent that your review reflects a genuine personal experience and that you have not been paid or incentivized to write it.

You may not submit reviews that are defamatory, false, harassing, or that violate any applicable law. We reserve the right to remove content that violates these terms.

6. Business Owners

Business owners who claim a listing are responsible for ensuring that all information on their profile is accurate and up to date. You may not use your listing to post false credentials, fabricated reviews, or misleading information about your services or qualifications.

7. Pro Subscription

Pro subscriptions are billed monthly at the current advertised rate. You may cancel at any time; your access continues until the end of the paid billing period. Refunds are available within 7 days of initial purchase — contact [email protected].

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Lokaaro is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of this site or any business you find through it. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold Lokaaro harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the site, your content, or your violation of these terms.

10. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of North Carolina, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of Cabarrus County, NC.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms as the product evolves. Continued use of Lokaaro after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
